  • The Parkland Community Hall is a well maintained facility operated by the Parkland Community Association. Completely wheel chair accessible, the Hall contains a bright sunny rooms with a hardwood floored main room, a small kitchen and carpeted meeting room. Back doors lead out to a covered patio area and newly designed outdoor development with covered trellis (2025). South of the Hall are four City soccer fields, plus one play field with lighting. The pretty and colourful Parkland Community Garden is located beside the community building.

    The foyer is located off the main room beside the kitchen, and is the perfect area for buffet serving or mingling. With large south-facing windows this foyer provides a welcoming space for guests.

    The functional home-style kitchen, contains a stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker and sink. A large inner window links the kitchen to the foyer, providing a serving area or bar. Although the kitchen is not a commercial kitchen, it is very functional with lots of counter space and a peninsula that opens to the foyer. The kitchen serves nicely as a coffee station, a bar or serving space.

  • Parkland is an established residential neighbourhood in south-east Calgary with public access to Fish Creek Provincial Park and panoramic views of ancient trees, meadows and the river.

    It is easily accessible via Macleod Trail, Canyon Meadows Drive or Bow Bottom Trail.

    • There is ample free parking in the hall parking lot as well as on nearby streets.

    • The hall is equipped with a first aid kit and AED (Automated external defibrillator)

    • Use of the outdoor, picnic tables, patio and trellis space around the hall.

    • Use of the fields behind the hall.

    • Washrooms: There are two stalls in the ladies washroom and one stall plus urinal in the men's. There is a change station in the ladies washroom.

    • Use of the podium and projector screens - $10.00 each.

    • Conference/Meeting Room - $30.00/hour

    • Main Room/Gym - $55.00/hour or $45.00/hour for long term rentals.

    • Parkland Community Association members receive a discounted rate. Please ask for details.
